Our group, Preferred Hospitalists is here to care for your inpatient needs. A Hospitalist is a physician who treats patients solely in a hospital. Our Hospitalists are trained and Board Certified as Internal Medicine physicians. We work closely with your Primary Care Physician and focus our practice on the care of hospitalized patients. Preferred Hospitalists has a great deal of experience in the unique aspects of the patient’s needs during their hospital stay. Our Hospitalists spend the entire work day in the hospital. Therefore, they can be more readily available to a patient than a doctor who spends much of the day outside the hospital in an office or clinic setting.

We currently practice at Ascension St. John Hospital, Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital (Warren & Oakland Campuses), Select Specialty Grosse Pointe, Select Specialty Macomb, and Advantage Nursing Center & Heartland Grosse Pointe Nursing Home.
